Notifications are the short messages your site shows after an action, such as a save or an error. You choose where they appear and how they look.
Go to System Configuration, then Notifications. The settings apply to the messages shown across your site, including the admin panel.
The page opens with Admin notifications, where you set the position and style.
Under Notifications position, pick where messages appear separately for On Computer, On Tablet and On Mobile.
Each can sit at the top or the bottom of the screen, on the left, in the center or on the right.
With background color
Tints each notification with its status color, such as green for success.
Under Test before you launch, click Success, Error, Loading Success or Loading Failed to see a sample with your current settings. Click Update settings to save.
To have administrators emailed when a shop order is paid, go to Shop, then Shop Configuration, and open Notify Admins. Search for and select the administrators, then click Save Notify Admins Settings.
These emails are sent from the email sender marked as System Favorite, so set one up first.
